Top 10 MBA Colleges in India for those who top CAT exam

Graduates wanting to pursue post-graduation in management from top Business schools have to clear CAT exam with competent CAT cut off marks. Registration for CAT exam will start in August and the exams will be over by the month of November. After the results, students have to choose their respective colleges based on their merit list.   • Indian Institute for Management, Bangalore:

This is one of the Top MBA colleges in India that offers a postgraduate program in management, PGP in food and agribusiness management, and executive PGPM. CAT cut off is important for admission and the institute accepts GMAT and GRE scores as well.

  • Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta:

This is a top MBA college in India and is a constituent business school of Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan, located in Mumbai. The institute has an intake of 700 students under various programs. Candidates are admitted based on their CAT scores and a cut off of 85+ is required for admission.

XIMB is located in Odisha and the college offers MBA in different streams. Selection is based on the scores in GMAT, XAT and CAT results. Admission is also based on personal interview and written ability tests, academic records, and relevant work experiences.

TAPMI is a private autonomous business school established in the year 1980 in India. It is the second business school to get global accreditation after the Indian School of Business. For admitting candidates in its PGDM program, the institute takes CAT, GMAT and SAT scores along with WAT and personal interviews.

All these MBA colleges in India accept CAT scores for MBA admission and some of them accept other exam scores such as XAT exam as well. Those topping the CAT results with good marks need not opt for IIMs alone but take admission with top autonomous management institutes as well. Registration for the CAT exam starts by the end of July for MBA aspirants.
